Black Lawmakers Reignite HR 40 Reparations Push
WASHINGTON, D.C. – As Black History Month unfolds, the Black lawmakers reintroduce HR 40. The bill would create a federal commission to study slavery’s impact and develop reparations proposals.
The U.S. Department of Labor received more than 26,000 comments on its proposed overtime rule adjustment, which would require employers to pay overtime to all workers paid less than $55,068 annually.
