After 15 years of waiting, Sonic is making its return to the Summit City and is estimated to be open by May, franchise owner Alex Richardson confirmed. The fast-food restaurant will be attached to a Marathon gas station being built on Bass Road near the roundabout connecting to Thomas Road, Allen County planning documents show.
