We do have slab on grade homes here affected by pyrrhotite and while they are fixable, it is a very invasive repair for the reasons I mentioned. While we have changed partial slab on grade homes to full basements in the past, putting a full foundation under a single story slab on grade home would probably not be all that cost effective unless you’re planning to gut the entire house anyway. So yes, it’s doable, but pretty pricey all the way around. #foundationreplacement #slabongrade #foundations
